If a pack trip is too long for your liking, take one of our daily guided rides. Experience spectacular scenery, a variety of vegetation, and a good opportunity to see wildlife. All our Alberta, Canada horseback rides are led by highly qualified trail guides. When you arrive you'll receive instruction if you are a beginner, or an overview for more advanced riders. All of our horses are quiet, experienced and easily managed. Everyone from children to seniors can enjoy a ride! (Please call to discuss options available for children 10 years old or younger).

Two hour horseback rides begin from our stables. You will ride up trails onto Grande Mountain where views look out over 3 mountain lakes and the front ranges of the Canadian Rockies. Make sure to bring along a camera so you don’t miss out on the unbelievable photo opportunities as you experience breathtaking scenery along the way.

   
If you would like something a little more adventuresome, then our day ride into the historic Kvass flats is the one for you!  Kvass Flats is located in the Willmore Wilderness Park. The ride is about 5 to 5 ½ hours long. We begin at the Sulphur Gates Staging Area, where you can see the spectacular cliffs of Sulphur Gates. We will have lunch on the flats where you can enjoy the mountain scenery. On the ride back we will stop at Eaton Creek Falls-one of the most well known water falls in the Grande Cache area. Most times of the year you will have an opportunity to walk right up under the base of the falls.
